Paul McKenzie

Executive Director of Fundraising and Communications

Paul is a driven fundraiser and communicator. He enjoys building strong working relationships to deliver impact for his charity and its supporters.

Paul started his career in support work, delivering front line services to asylum seekers, refugees, homeless adults and young people.

His next role was as the sole fundraiser at a small homelessness charity, where he learned the challenges of fundraising in isolation.

Since then, Paul has worked for charities including Action for Children, Age UK and Battersea Dogs & Cats Home. Over a 15-year career, he has worked across a wide range of fundraising disciplines and communications channels.

Paul is enthusiastic about collaborating with colleagues at Depaul UK and across the sector to raise much-needed funds and awareness. He wants to make a meaningful difference to those who need it most, and ensure the public understands the impact of their support.
