The East Cluster provides young people with a safe and secure property to reside in and essential support for their stability and emotional welfare. As well as day to day communication, the staff meet with individual residents on a weekly basis to identify areas that the young person may need assistance with, ensuring wellbeing and safety are always a priority.

Support workers at the Cluster are trained to support young people in difficult cirumstances and with multiple needs, including mental health problems, learning difficulties, ADHD, drug and alcohol services and safeguarding needs.

The staff works in partnership with the First Base Housing Options Team in Woolwich to help young people sustain tenancies. We also help young people access colleges and apprenticeships, advise young people on welfare and benefits questions and help them manage their relationships with social services, probation, mediation, health and mental health services.
