Who would have thought that Depaul's Nightstop would ever share the silver screen with James Bond?

That was the case on 4November as Bond Dickinson held a charity screening of new Bond film SPECTRE in support of Depaul.

The glitzy affair took place at the Tyneside Cinema in Newcastle and saw the venue transformed into a Bond-themed wonderland with pictures from the famous movie series projected onto walls accompanied by a fantastic soundtrack of classic Bond songs.

On arrival the 80 licensed-to-thrill guests were welcomed with their own secret agent badge and a vodka martini - shaken not stirred, of course - and were then invited to try their hand at the casino tables.
As the curtains parted for the start of the screening, there was a poignant moment for guests as Depaul shared a film promoting the work of Nightstop. It was a great opportunity for Depaul to raise the profile of Nightstop North East with many local businesses in the audience.

Nightstop North East relies on the support of charitable donations to help young homeless people who are facing the night sleeping rough. The service provides emergency accommodation for young people in the homes of trained and vetted volunteers, helping to keep them safe and find the support they need to break the cycle of homelessness. Corporate supporters are key to helping the service continue to run.
