The purpose of this role will be to act as the main point of contact for Nightstop hosts and young people seeking accommodation through phone and email. This role would suit an applicant looking to gain experience in the charity sector or an applicant with the capacity to help during the week who is looking to give back.
The role will involve calling hosts in the morning to check if they are still free to host that night and gathering feedback from hosts and guests about their placement the night before. It will also involve monitoring our main email inbox and taking incoming calls to give basic details to referral partners, young people and potential new volunteers.
With support from our Nightstop Coordinators, this could include sending referral forms to partner organisations, signposting young people to alternative accommodation options and offering support through the wider prevention team. It would also include responding to potential volunteers to thank them for enquiring with our service and sending them an application pack.
This role will be remotely based and will require the applicant to have a computer or laptop available.
