Pyjama Day
Your school can make a real difference and support Depaul's work with homeless and vulnerable young people by organising a Pyjama Day!
When? World Homeless Day so any time in October is great.
How? Pupils collect sponsorship or make a suggested donation of £1-£2 to spend the day at school in their pyjamas. Set up a JustGiving page for your school to make donating even more quick and easy at: www.justgiving.com/depaul
Why? Holding a Pyjama Day focuses attention on just how difficult life can become for a young person who has exhausted other options and finds themselves sleeping outside. As your pupils are putting on their pyjamas and getting ready for bed, hundreds of homeless young people across the UK won't have a bed of their own to sleep in.
Most importantly, have fun! Pick a theme, superhero PJs or onesies?
Register your school or group and we will be in touch with your fundraising pack and lesson plans to help raise awareness of youth homelessness.
