Who Are We?

Depaul UK is a unique and innovative charity offering a wide range of services for young people and adults at risk of homelessness. We specialise in the provision of supported accommodation, with lasting commitments to the young people in Sheffield, the North East, Greater Manchester and London. Other supporting services include family mediation and working with young people from the ’care’ and criminal justice systems

What is the purpose of this role?

The main focus of the HR & Recruitment Administrator is to provide an effective administrative support within the HR Service, managing the recruitment life-cycle (including full on-boarding process of employees) and assisting the team to offer a quality service to Depaul employees, Locum Worker and Volunteers.

You will be part of a comprehensive, high quality and customer focused HR service delivering across Depaul that is mindful of, and promotes the organisation’s Vision, Mission, Values and strategic aims.

What will I do?

  • You will provide administrative support throughout the full recruitment life-cycle
  • You will manage all vacancy advertising
  • Liaise with staffing providers on the Depaul UK preferred supplier list
  • Manage the on-boarding administration including managing effective employee screening processes including DBS and right to work checks
  • Monitoring right to work and DBS renewals
  • Updating new starter information on the HR database
  • Maintain accurate records within HR, including the provision of reports, ensuring compliance with the Data Protection policy
  • Assisting HR Officer with monthly payroll reports and queries
  • General administration support
