By volunteering with Depaul you can really make a huge difference to the lives of those we work with. Depaul was founded with the support of volunteers and we truly value what our volunteers bring to the organisation. On a daily basis our volunteers help empower those we work with to progress on to live happy independent lives.
Volunteers at Depaul tell us that they feel valued and that they feel they're really making a difference to the lives of those they support. They also tell us that they find it a challenging but rewarding experience that helps them in their personal development and progression.
We have volunteers involved in pretty much every aspect of our organisation including both our client facing and administrative functions.
In all the regions we work in we have a variety of different roles on offer for example our 'Get Up and Go' Programme is led by volunteers with the support of the Programmes Team. These roles include 'Get up and Go' Project volunteers who support the smooth running of our supported accommodation projects whilst leading on Get up and Go activities and sessions in those same spaces. All our work is underpinned by our 'Get up and Go' Mentor volunteers who work with clients on a one to one basis usually meeting out and about in the community helping them to focus on and progress towards their goals.
Outside of our accomodation projects, we are always seeking new Nighstop hosts to host one of the people we work with in their home on a temporary basis. Nightstop also look for drivers and adminstrators as well
