Depaul wants YOU to be part of their, flexible, innovative, fun, all hands on deck, fundraising team of 18, and be part of our dynamic corporate team to provide exceptional account management and leadership to develop one of our major corporate partnerships with the UK division of a global organisation generating £1m over 3 years for the charity. You will also have the opportunity to manage a strong portfolio of other corporate friends and build significant new corporate relationships autonomously.

As Depaul’s Corporate Partnerships Account Manager, you will be responsible for the significant growth of expanding partnerships, take an active role in the team’s growth and join Depaul at an enormously exciting stage in the charity’s ground-breaking growth over the last year.

You must have a ‘find work’ approach and be willing to go the extra to support current corporate supporters and build new corporate partnerships. You must be proactive, imaginative, persuasive, and enjoy picking up the phone and building new partnerships from scratch!

The team target is £600k per annum and the role will be a combination of account managing existing partners such as Deloitte, UK Finance and property companies including securing new partners which are a mix of COTY and multi-strand strategic opportunities, helping to run our own annual Depaul Sleepout event at iconic arts venues in Central London.

You will be based at our Central Office at the Endeavour Centre, Sherborne House, Bermondsey. Depaul moved to our new home in March 2017 after an 8-month renovation project transforming the space into the home of Nightstop London and Alone in London support services for the young people we support who may either be experiencing homelessness or at risk of being homeless. The offices are contemporary, welcoming and provide an in-house coffee shop and Day Stop centre providing vital care facilities for the young people accessing services. The office provides a fantastic opportunity to meet the beneficiaries you are working for and see first-hand the impact funders contribution has in turning around the lives of disadvantaged young people.

To succeed in this role you / or The ideal candidate will have:

  • Significant experience in a fundraising or sales role including customer service and/or donor management
  • Excellent understanding of the corporate marketplace
  • Demonstrable experience of working independently to research and secure new business/support in a corporate or charitable environment
  • Proven experience of event and project management
  • A demonstrable understanding of fundraising and the charity sector
  • Proven experience of working independently and achieving results
  • Experience or working knowledge of event management
  • Proven experience of research, reporting, and database management from any field
  • Proven experience of working in a target driven high pressured environment where you have surpassed expectations
  • Proven experience of a high standard of writing
