Depaul UK delivers a wide range of support and housing services for young people and adults at risk of homelessness. We specialise in the provision of services that prevent homelessness, increase the resilience of those we work with and energise opportunities for employment, education, training and volunteering in the communities we work within. Our organisation reaches from Newcastle to London, Greater Manchester to Sheffield and Kent.
We are looking to recruit a Communications Coordinator fixed term until June 2018 with the view to extend further should we secure further funding. This role will be working across Depaul’s Nightstop and Public Fundraising teams supporting their communications work with a particular focus in digital communications. If you have great communication skills, a flare for all things digital and can work effectively across teams, we want to hear from you.
The Communications Coordinator will have two main responsibilities:
Supporting the Nightstop UK team to fulfil its communication plan, raising the profile of Nightstop nationally, through digital media and equipping local Nightstops with the tools to promote the service to range of stakeholders.
Supporting the Public Fundraising team in all digital aspects of their appeals, campaigns and supporter development plans.
The ideal candidate will have the following skills:
Strong communication skills
Good relationship management
Ability to contribute to a wider team strategy
